Thulani Ngesi is the National Convener of PM27. He is the professional businessperson, Community Builder, Spiritual Leader and have strong tires withTraditional Leadership. As the Spiritual Leader with strong tires in the Traditional Leadership, he made interventions in Marikana tragedy.He was very close to the late King Maxhoba Sandile of AmaRharhabe Kingdom. He is the former CEO of CONTRALESA investment company. Currently he is in the electronics manufacturing sector. His involvement in the sector influenced a launch and paved direction of the digital migration.

He is the founder and Senior Pastor at Kingdom Restoration Ministries. He was born in Ginsberg Township in King William’s Town. He caught politics at the early age, he started by participating in the YCS. He was a Literacy Coordinator at Zingisa Educational Project which was established by Steve Biko. In the mid 90’s he joined the Metropolitan Life as an insurance consultant. Later he joined the first Black Medical Aid Administrator IFM as the Provincial Director. He was actively involved in the establishment, sales and marketing of SAMWUMED, the medical scheme of SAMWU members. Between 1998-2001 he was with Vodacom Community Services. 

Thulani Ngesi has been a member of the ANC in good standing and was very actIve in the launching of Kliprivier ANC branch in the area of Glenvista in Joburg South Region. At his early age he was actively involved in the launch of ANC branch in Breidbach in King William's Town. After Bhisho Massacre, never looked back. Later in his political activism he was very much involved in the CR17 Campaign. He has supported various Ministers with technical advisory services to drive and advance the electronics manufacturing sector.
