The PM27 Story
The PM27 Campaign was born from a collective desire to restore integrity, unity, and visionary leadership at the heart of South Africa’s democracy. In a time marked by division, distrust, and declining public confidence, PM27 stands as a movement to rally South Africans behind Patrice Motsepe—a leader whose credibility, business acumen, and commitment to ethical governance offer hope for true national renewal.
Rooted in the spirit of “Savumelana” (“Let’s Agree”), PM27 is more than a campaign; it is a call to action for every citizen and ANC members to build a future defined by unity, progress, and opportunity. Our mission is to position Patrice Motsepe as the most credible, unifying, and visionary leader to guide the African National Congress and South Africa into a new era—one where integrity is the foundation, and every voice is valued.
Our vision is a South Africa where diversity is celebrated, corruption is eradicated, and prosperity is shared by all. Through respectful dialogue, inclusive engagement, and a shared commitment to ethical leadership, PM27 seeks to inspire a groundswell of support for real change.
Only in South Africa could you have a change in government without civil war. If there wasn't the depth of love and caring among our people, this would not have happened.
What issues/problems does PM27 address?
South Africa stands at a crossroads. For over a decade, corruption and state capture have cost the country an estimated R1.5 trillion, eroding public trust and weakening the very institutions meant to serve the people. Within the ANC, divisions and factionalism have undermined unity and distracted from the party’s historic mission.
Unemployment remains a persistent threat to social stability, with over 32% of South Africans— and more than 45% of the youth—struggling to find work. Economic exclusion and inequality have deepened, leaving millions feeling left behind.
Social cohesion is under strain, with over 60% of citizens reporting that the nation feels more divided than united. The absence of ethical leadership and constructive dialogue has left many disillusioned and searching for hope.
Yet, amid these challenges, the story of South Africa is also one of resilience, innovation, and the enduring spirit of “Savumelana.” PM27 harnesses this spirit, calling on all South Africans to unite behind a leader who is committed to restoring trust, upholding integrity, and building a future where every citizen can thrive.
